Gas Igniters are the perfect solution for use in the majority of
conventional and self-cleaning gas ovens.
The
glo-stix® hot surface igniter can be used with all types of
range control system including the conventional bi-metal safety
valve. The glo-stix® has been designed to operate in every application
a hot surface igniter can but, has many advantages over its 30 year
old competitor. Slow heat up times can be a thing of the past, (if
required) as all our products are capable of very fast ignition
speeds. This will give you more choice when selecting your broiler
and range controllers.
Glo-stix®
are made of high strength Silicon Nitride and are lighter and smaller
than any of its rival products. A glo-stix® igniter is designed
for long-term reliability and service and can remain on during the
appliance operation, if required, lasting for many thousands of
hours continual usage. The Glo-stix is manufactured from a
patented advanced ceramic material
and combines superior physical strength and high thermal shock properties.
It is very resistant to alkalis and acids. As would be expected
from modern materials, it demonstrates very stable electrical characteristics
and has very low power ratings and is therefore more efficient than
its rival products. All cables are high temperature rated. Our igniters
are provided with all mounting plates and brackets that may be required.
The igniters are very robust and offer none of the fragile characteristics
demonstrated by silicon carbide hot surface igniter products.
Glo-stix®
igniters are designed for easy handling, simple installation and
trouble-free operation. A shield can be used in the design if required
but in many cases it is not necessary as the igniter is very robust
unlike Silicon Carbide products. Glo-stix® infrared gas igniters
have been designed to work with the bi-metal safety valves which
have been specifically calibrated to work with our igniter product
range. The valves must be the model specifically manufactured and
calibrated for the glo-stix® infrared gas igniter.
