The glo-stix® has been designed for long-term reliability. Glo-stix® is a patented Crystal-Technica product made from Silicon Nitride and is extremely tough unlike Silicon Carbide Hot Surface Igniters. It displays excellent electrical characteristics and requires no specialist handling.

At 120 volts, the Glo-stix® igniter reaches ignition temperature in less than six seconds. Even in voltage situations as low as 80 volts, the igniter will still reach ignition temperature within 8 seconds. Glo-stix® are manufactured to comply with all the relevant certifications including CSA and U/L approvals. All cables are high temperature rated. Our igniters are potted into ceramic insulation bushes and come with all the mounting plates and brackets that may be required.
