The Mini-lite™ not only has fast time to temperature, less then 2 seconds, but is a more compact and robust design than any of its fragile Silicon Carbide hot surface igniter equivalents. The Mini-lite™ offers the optimum in cook top ignition and completely eliminates the electromagnetic characteristics (EMC) that are present in spark generated systems which are the cause of many problems. It is also silent! Voltage and power consumptions are very low. This allows for, on the one hand, an economical and simple system design and on the other, as sophisticated as your imagination will stretch bearing in mind that our hot surface igniters can be used as sensor probes so once the gas has been ignited the Mini-lite™ can form part of any re-ignition system.
