This element can be used in any device using line voltage. Its 400-500 watts rating makes it particularly suitable for more powerful applications. It also produces more radiant heat than the glo-stix® and can operate certain thermal safety devices. It is compatible with all controller systems and indeed can operate without a specialist controller. The tungsten and silicon nitride construction makes it the perfect choice for more demanding applications. Suitable for use in gas boilers, furnaces, water heaters, gas dryers, pool heaters and many more applications.
